The placement under the customs import regime of certain means of transportation declared through action, proof of payment of the road tax for the last 90 days.
In Official Gazette No. 399-400 (8905-8906) dated October 25, 2023, the Customs Service Order No. 991 was published regarding the modification of the Customs Director's Order No. 242-O/2023 "On the placement under the customs import regime of certain means of transportation declared through action," in which, in point 3, subpoint 5), the text "for the entire period of the vehicle's presence" is replaced with "for the last 90 days of the vehicle's presence."
As a result, proof of presenting confirmation of road tax payment is mandatory only for the last 90 days from the initiation of the customs procedure.
